A Dream Realized — Opening Our Guelph Storefront
One of the proudest moments in the Hair Cues journey was opening our salon and beauty supply store in Guelph. Seeing Hair Cues grow from a small home-based business into a real storefront was a dream come true and a reflection of the incredible support from the curly hair community.
Achievement 2
As Hair Cues continued to grow, we became known as a trusted Canadian destination for curly hair products. In 2013, innovative U.S. brand Q-Redew reached out to partner with us after hearing about Hair Cues within the curl community. We became the first Canadian retailer to import and carry the Q-Redew — a huge milestone for our growing business.
2013 — Becoming a Trusted Name in the Curl Community

After years of relaxing my hair, I decided to embrace my natural curls — but finding the products I had been researching was nearly impossible in Canada at the time. That’s how Hair Cues began. What started with a simple nine-cube storage shelf in the living room of my condo quickly grew into something much bigger: a space dedicated to helping others embrace and care for their curls.
